Treating Yeast Infections with Food and Clothing

There are very few things that we need regularly in order to survive. As a matter of fact, the basic needs of humans can be broken down into three separate things, food, clothing and shelter. The reason why I'm telling you this is because we all have choices to make as far as these things are concerned. These choices can actually affect our health in a number of different ways so it is good if you're informed about these things ahead of time. For example, did you realize that choosing the right type of clothing and food can actually help you to overcome and avoid yeast infections? Here is why that is the case.

The food that we eat sustains us but it may also be sustaining a yeast infection that we are experiencing. Keeping our body in balance is very important and it is the first step in making sure that we do not have yeast infections and other problems within us. Too much processed food and sugar will feed yeast infections and give it an environment in which you can live comfortably. In order to overcome the problem, we need to eat foods that are alkaline so that we can bring our body into this natural pH state. Yeast needs an acidic environment to grow so take away its environment by eating the proper foods and the yeast infection will naturally disappear.

Clothing also affects us in a number of different ways. It helps us to express our personality and it keeps us covered where necessary. Wearing tight fitting clothing, however, may be contributing to the yeast infections that you are experiencing. This is especially true in women because the vagina provides such a natural environment for yeast to grow. Tight fitting clothing will not allow this area of our body to breathe and the additional moisture can cause problems with yeast. The same is also true with the types of underwear that we are wearing regularly. Make sure that yours is breathable and contains a cotton crotch and you will avoid many of the problems with yeast infections.

It's surprising that making wise choices in these two areas of our lives can really affect whether we have a yeast infection or not. Keep yourself healthy and your body will be able to fight off these problems naturally.

Your Clothing Is Causing Yeast Build up

You would probably be surprised to learn that almost everybody has suffered from a yeast infection at some point in their life. Unfortunately, it can cause a lot of problems for us but it really stems from an imbalance and not from the fact that yeast is present in our body. Typically, we have natural bacteria that are present in our body which fights off the yeast to the extent where it is not allowed to grow to the point where it becomes an infection. If the yeast is allowed to overpower the bacteria for one reason or another, a yeast infection will ensue.

One of the reasons why we have yeast infections is because parts of our body provide an ideal environment for it to grow. For example, the female vagina is the perfect breeding ground for yeast because of the temperature and the moisture that is usually present. It is important for us to make sure that we are taking care of this part of our body and also that we don't allow it to become more fertile ground because of the clothes that we are wearing. After all, our clothing can have a large impact on any yeast infections that we are experiencing.

If you want to be able to avoid yeast infections to the best of your ability, you need to make sure that you're not wearing clothing that is too tight fitting. The reason why this is the case is because tight fitting clothing will not allow this area of your body to breathe. As a result, yeast will be able to get a foothold and once it does, it will not be long before you're suffering from yet another yeast infection.

You should also make sure that the underwear that you are wearing allows this area of your body to breathe as well. It is best if you wear underwear that has a cotton crotch, both so that it is able to absorb some of the moisture that is present and also so it allows some fresh air into the area. Pantyhose should also be avoided if you're suffering from a yeast infection.

Although the clothing that you wear is not going to have the ultimate control over your yeast infections, it will affect it to a certain extent. If you're suffering from a yeast infection currently, make sure that you give the area the opportunity to breathe and you will have a much easier time overcoming it naturally.

In most martial arts they don't force you to go barefoot. You can always get a nice pair of athletic shoes and train in them.. it's not like the instructor will force you to go barefoot if you have a yeast infection.

Also for your first class, just go there in a T-Shirt and Shorts or Sweatpants. If the instructor requires you to wear a uniform, he will sell you one or tell you what to get.

  • At my school we wear Kung Fu pants (the very baggy ones), socks and kung fu sneakers (Feiyue). The Feiyue sneakers are very comfortable and you can get them basically anywhere, especially at Chinese shops.
When you visit the school, they will tell you what you should wear.

Clothing for Yeast Infections

We all have to make choices every day and some of those choices can really affect our health, even though we may not realize it. Are you having a difficult time with yeast infections? You might be surprised to learn that it could be your clothing that is causing these problems. Although these are only general guidelines that you should follow, they can certainly promote yeast infections if you are wearing the wrong types of clothing. Here are some suggestions that can help you to overcome the problem in some way or another.

The first thing that you should avoid is wearing the wrong kind of underwear. If you're wearing underwear that is made from a material that does not breathe easily, it is not going to allow your skin to breathe and to get rid of the yeast that may be present. Whenever you're choosing the type of underwear that you're wearing, make sure that you choose one with a cotton crotch as this will help to whisk away any moisture that may be present.

Along with that, pantyhose are one of the top culprits as far as yeast infections are concerned. These tend to be rather tight which keeps the moisture in place, providing a prime environment for the yeast to grow. Along with that, they also don't breathe very well and many of them do not contain the right type of crotch to make sure that the area is as dry as possible. If you must wear pantyhose because of work, opt for the type that only goes up as high as you need them to go.

One final thing that you might want to try avoiding are tight fitting clothing of any sort. Even though you may think that it looks good, and more than likely it does, it's still gives the yeast an opportunity to grow because it keeps the moisture in place. You might be surprised to learn that tight fitting clothing not only promotes yeast infections in the genital area, it also may create an environment in which yeast and grow in other areas of the body, such as underneath the breasts.

The best thing that you can do if you're having a difficult time with yeast infections is to wear clothing that is not too tight fitting and that breathes easily. Although it is a small step, it is one that you can take toward not having a problem with yeast infections any longer.
